Brad Kamo is of Maori, Moriori, English, Portuguese descent. Brad has been practicing Contemporary Maori Art including Tattooing and Taa Moko professionally for over 10 years.
Starting his professional tattooing journey with Te Ururangi Rowe back in 2011,
it can only be right to first and foremost acknowledge Mr Rowe's guidance and patience, as Brad's career would not be where it is today without the help of this man.
Brad Kamo has always been drawn to Contemporary Maori Taa Moko, Portraiture and Realism.
His priority is to produce high quality artworks, while portraying narratives according to individual whakapapa, creativity led by wairua and the covenant of karakia. Brad offers an intuitive approach to his mahi and his interactions with the world.
This Contemporary Maori Artist also enjoys realistic tattooing and the challenge it brings, whether its portraiture, colour or black n grey, he has always reveled in the technical aspect and discipline these styles of Tattoo represent.
He has guest spotted in Tattoo Studio's around New Zealand and has attended various Tattoo Conventions in recent years.
